Lightning McQueen Gets Busted

The sheriff's got you now, you're busted! (busted!)

Can't you see you've taken a wrong turn?

You just tried to get away too fast,
but all you did was crash and burn

You're busted! (busted!)

Now you're gonna have to pay the price!
This is what you're gonna do for committing an accidental vice

You're busted!

Yes, yes I do.

Breakthrough! Let it Snow!

Tonight, a momentous occasion has happened for me! It started when a deviantArt user known as shadamylover222, possibly inspired by romance between one of my original characters and one belonging to another dA user Sonickid300, requested my permission to draw both our characters. And this image is the final result! Behold, the wintry love between Bow the Cat and Ultragamma the Hedgehog! I own Bow, the user Sonickid300 owns Ultragamma, and the user shadamylover222 has done a most remarkable job putting together this piece that to me, marks a historic happening in my life. A user has asked to try his hand at drawing my work. I am very honored and flattered to make this announcement. Thank you, shadamylover222 from deviantArt!

Oh the weather outside is frightful,
But the fire is so delightful,
And since we've no place to go,
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

It doesn't show signs of stopping,
And I've bought some corn for popping,
The lights are turned way down low,
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

When we finally kiss goodnight,
How I'll hate going out in the storm!
But if you'll really hold me tight,
All the way home I'll be warm.

Well, the fire is slowly dying,
And, my dear, we're still good-bying,
But as long as you love me so,
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

When we finally kiss goodnight,
How I'll hate going out in the storm!
But if you'll really hold me tight,
All the way home I'll be warm.

Well, the fire is slowly dying,
And, my dear, we're still good-bying,
But as long as you love me so,
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!
Let It Snow!

Popularity Never Dies

You know that when something comes to fruition and then it becomes so popular you hate to see it die, it just doesn't. What I mean to say this time is that while Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's was thought to be the last anime series of the popular card game for real, even this doesn't mark the end of it. Apparently, a new series known as Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL is preparing to take over where 5D's will end airing in Japan beginning next spring in 2011. One thing this really means is that 5D's is gonna come to an end real soon, meaning that Road to Destiny must be the last story arc. Hmm, the first Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series consisted of five seasons, GX had four, and 5D's had only two, or three if you count the first two story arcs as separate seasons. Also, their total episode numbers have been getting fewer and fewer, with the first anime having over 200 while GX had less than 200, 180 to be precise. Is 5D's gonna end with 150 altogether? It's a magic number, but it would make the longest season ever due to more than exceeding an average 50-52 episodes. This new series along with a fifth generation of Pokémon and a sixth season of Digimon (Xros Wars in Japan), along with seemingly never-ending television shows Pokémon and The Simpsons, is going to show that once something reaches fame and/or popularity, it never truly dies.

"Now, I am at rest, understanding that in books, and ages, and life, the ending can never truly be written." - Atrus, RIVEN

The Mystery 3D

In addition to the Nintendo 3DS coming, there's a future Kingdom Hearts game coming with the latest handheld. Since it is said to be the next major game in the series, it can be assumed that since screen shots show Sora and Riku as they appeared in the first Kingdom Hearts game, their new adventures take place during their Mark of Mastery exam, as stated by Yen Sid in the secret ending of Kingdom Hearts Re:coded. However, it is also said that while the game's events will lead directly into Kingdom Hearts III, the Disney worlds in this game alone are said to be entirely new instead of revisiting old worlds. Owing to the ending of Kingdom Hearts II, this makes sense, but I guess we'll learn about this new game as time goes on, particularly when the Nintendo 3DS is released next year.

The New Wii?

While the Nintendo 3DS is without a doubt slated to become a reality next year, there are also rumors about a new version of the latest console, the Nintendo Wii, also coming next year. It is widely believed that this new and improved would-be console features high-definition and a Blu-ray drive. Now it does seem to be that new consoles have been showing up on the market every five years - Super Nintendo in 1991, Nintendo 64 in 1996, Gamecube in 2001, and the Wii in 2006. But this is possibly a little redundant. As unorthodox as this may sound, I personally believe the new "Nintendo" in 2011 will actually be the more accurate Nintendo 3DS, the handheld with state-of-the-art graphics seen in next-gen consoles. If anybody would like to believe a new Wii is on the way or has proof of existence, please let me know. I'd love to hear how Nintendo is gonna compete with Kinect, the newest feature of the Xbox 360.

No Mere Illusion

In an earlier post, I mentioned the first proof that a fifth generation of Pokémon existed. Now that same proof in the form of those tricky fox Pokémon has been revealed in English at long last, in light of a new movie coming in 2011. It turns out, their English names are the same as their translated Japanese names, Zorua and Zoroark. In the games, Pokémon Black and Pokémon White, they cannot be obtained by normal means - they are event-exclusive only. To make things simpler, though, Zorua is confirmed to evolve into Zoroark at Level 30, so at least obtaining a Zorua would cover a player in filling up the new Pokédex. And with that, 7 English names of these new Pokémon have been revealed to the public. 149 more to go!

Candace's Clueless Christmas

A year ago, Phineas and Ferb's Christmas Vacation was welcomed into the world of television and became a smashing success. Now, an extended edition has come and gone, which features the song "What Does He Want?", originally deleted due to time constraints. Now, only one questions remains: Did this make it onto iTunes? And even if it did... how can we tell? The 30-second episode preview doesn't help, that's for sure. Won't somebody tell me! Why? 'Cuz it'd be nice. What else?

First Human Drawing Ever

This is it! My first human drawing... in anime-like form! This is my OC planned for a future video game I came up with back when I was in high school. Her name is Princess Shaya Verda. She is 10 years old. This original character belongs to ME and ME alone! PLEASE do NOT USE or STEAL!! DO YOU HEAR ME?! I MEAN IT!!

A very young and beautiful girl raised by fairies, Shaya learned the art of swordplay and magic and took her first steps towards royalty at a young age. She has gained much wisdom beyond her years, though her past is clouded in mystery, and she leaves her palace frequently in hopes of living a normal life. When she met Magis, a young sword master, they became romantic friends and she started spending more of her time with him. She loves swimming and adventuring, and when she is chosen by destiny to save her island home, she is thrust into the greatest adventure of her life!

Well, you could save a copy of this magnificent drawing, I guess, but no claiming it as your own or anything like that!

Baldegoon Balderdash

Nowadays, some of the newer Season 2 episodes of Phineas and Ferb air in different languages before making it here to Disney Channel and Disney XD. One of the three "lost episodes" that has finally been identified is no exception. Known as "Make Play", in English this strange episode has aired in South America in Spanish languages first and in it, Candace meets Princess Baldegoon from Drueselstein who coincidentally looks exactly like her and they decide to switch lives a la "Prince and the Pauper". You can imagine things get out of hand from there. Phineas and Ferb are inspired by Jeremy and the Incidentals to build a giant jukebox for music-listening pleasure and Candace is apparently displeased that her lookalike makes no moves to bust them. Well, Candace, what did you expect? Now what about the two remaining "lost episodes"? Well, here are a few new crazy rumors. It is said according to an interview with Laura Dickinson that "Rollercoaster: The Musical" is set to be the TRUE Season 2 finale episode, which originally intended to be a Season 3 episode in the same way that Candace and Jeremy hooking up was to take place in Season 3. Also, according to Disney book sources, Season 3 is currently set to begin next Spring.

Reshiram and Zekrom rise to fame!

Oh, yeah! Happy Thanksgiving, Americans (I'm still scolding you Mainers for your terrible decisions made at the month's beginning, so boo-hoo to you) and for all you Pokémon fans, here's a holiday treat! In addition to the giant Pikachu float making its tenth appearance in Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, 14-foot tall sculptures of the cover Pokémon from Pokémon Black and Pokémon White, Reshiram and Zekrom, were also introduced in the parade to celebrate the upcoming English release of the games next spring. Cool, huh? The mascot of Pokémon may not be alone in soaking up the fame and glory. Reshiram and Zekrom are the first other Pokémon to star in the exotic parade marching down 34th Street. Get ready for the dragons to battle it out when the games arrive and a whole new adventure awaits all you Trainers! Look out, Team Plasma! The heroes are here!

Pokémon Black...

Phineas and Ferb Fan Fiction Blues

Whether or not it's because Phineas and Ferb Season 3 is taking its time to get here, a lot of stuff, be it rumors or just fanon as the Phineas and Ferb Wiki calls it, is surfacing. Apparently, Internet users are clueless as to understanding the difference between what really is happening in the show and what is meant to be kept as fan fiction only, particularly for a section that is aptly known as the Phineas and Ferb Fanon Wiki. Please, users, plenty of your imaginative nonsense can go there, so why is the Phineas and Ferb wiki still unclean? And who the hell is saying the show is getting freaking canceled? As if! The brothers are getting their talk show, the Christmas episode is getting an extended version, there's a TV movie on the way, and of course Season 3 has yet to air! I know these things just aren't getting here soon enough, but why do these users have to make stuff up about it? It doesn't make any sense and in most cases, the show's standards get broken. Do us all a favor and keep a good source site clean. Don't make the show look bad! Just because it has the potent to surpass Spongebob Squarepants...

Baljeet Who?

"You wouldn't happen to be talking about me, would you? I'm just your average grade 'A' student. Okay, maybe I did a whole song and dance number on it, but that's beside the point. So, why are you mentioning me again? My last name? I thought that was personal! Top secret! Classified information! Sure, Phineas, Ferb, and all their friends have revealed to the general public their last names, but not me. Wait a minute! What the heck?! First, Candace doesn't let me sing and now I'm the only one without a surefire last name?! I'd get angry, but I already did a rock song on that once. So, tell me. Who are the wise guys who thought my last name was Patel? That is actually the last name of my friend Mishti from India. Oh, you people have got to listen more closely to our dialogue! What? What you want me to do? Go back up on stage and sing in punk rock form 'Give Me a Last Name'? No way! I wouldn't do it even if my nerd ego got bullied into it by Buford. Speaking of which, he's always there to bully me when no one else is. We make quite a pair, don't we? But that's beside the point, too! If I recall correctly, Swampy once said my last name was 'Rai', but then that information was told to be taken down due to complexities or something. Who would have thought that my last name of all the others would be irrelevant?! Martin Prince, eat your heart out!"

Two Games Are Better Than One

So, anyone remember the first Phineas and Ferb video game for the Nintendo DS? I do, because I somehow got it last year for Christmas as a half-surprise. But anyway, the game has a sequel now, known as Phineas and Ferb Ride Again, which is pretty much the same as the last game, except that it is much more expansive. More mini-games, more escapades from Candace, and more Agent P missions... or at least, that's what I heard. I have no plans to get the game myself, lest I somehow get it from someone else like last time.

Mom! Phineas and Ferb are hosting a talk show!

Yeah, you can bet Candace will be screaming that because Phineas and Ferb are instant celebrities now! That's right - they're hosting their own talk show entitled "Take Two With Phineas and Ferb"! This new interstitial series is set to air beginning December 3 and features a crossover of live action and animation as the two stepbrothers interview celebrity guest stars such as Jack Black. Isabella Garcia-Shapiro also returns as the stage manager. This is without a doubt a surefire sign that Phineas and Ferb is about to make franchise and surely surpass Spongebob Squarepants in every way. Oh sure, the yellow twit has crossed into live-action stuff before, such as his first movie, but this is taking live-action and animation to the next level! I mean, not even Spongebob has made it to a talk show, that is, if he even knows what one is! And of course, the voice talents of Vincent Martella and Thomas Sangster as Phineas and Ferb respectively will be bringing the characters to life as they go down the road of fame. Let's see Candace TRY to bust them for this!

Maine Drain

"The end of the world is now at hand!" - Master Vile, Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers

Well, all you bad people of Maine, the results of voting 2010 are in and the victor of our next governor is, no thanks to all you losers, the idiot LePage, or LePrat as I call him. This is all your fault, you stinkers! You thought you could believe that Republicans would solve our problems when you stupidly thought that Democrats can't cut it because you expected change in a mere two years. Well, you folks are about to get your just desserts. Once the evil Republicans make things even worse, who are you going to turn to for a miracle? Will you regret your decisions? Will you suck dirt while all the rich people live happily? Well, if you ungrateful citizens start losing jobs and everything precious to you, I will not show even the least amount of sympathy. In fact, I will laugh in all your faces while all you Mainers can just crawl into a hole and die for all I care! I tried to tell you, Republicans in charge would not be answer. You can't expect a miracle after eight years of damage, like for everything to be fixed overnight. Now you Mainers and all you foolish Republicans are gonna get it! I just hope you're happy! Good riddance, Maine! And don't expect me to show my face at the restaurant Governor's ever again!

"I'm gonna go sit in the dark and mumble to myself." - Clewn't, Phineas and Ferb Christmas Vacation

Sorry, but I'm led to believe all you Republicans are nothing more than selfish, greedy, power-hungry nobles who want to rule the world and make only rich people live in prosperity while you treat the middle and lower class like lowlifes. Shame on you filthy Republican scum!

Christmas Comes Alive

Yeah, I know, it's a tad too early to discuss, but then again, can't go wrong with Phineas and Ferb now, can we? In last year's first podcast, Dan and Swampy mentioned that their Christmas special would definitely be played on more Christmas seasons than its first. This year is no exception, but now it is said that a new extended version is popping up, which includes an eighth song, "What Does He Want?", that was originally deleted due to time constraints. It is sung by Candace as she tries to figure out what Jeremy wants for Christmas, despite that she already got him a silver guitar, but there you are. That's Candace for you, fans! Also, rumor has it that classic Christmas carols sung by the cast of Phineas and Ferb from the Holiday Favorites soundtrack are to be featured as well, and the episode is to be known as "A Very Perry Christmas", sharing the DVD title. So, what is this? If this is true, which special will be featured Christmas 2011? The original? The extended version? Both? In any case, the mysteries behind the extended version are likely to be revealed early this December, as the air dates are scheduled as the 3rd for Disney Channel and the 4th for Disney XD. That's cool, I can wait...

Tradition is upheld

Last Halloween, I approached all you bloggers and users out there, asking you about the trick-or-treating holiday what began with a historic event of people going around to people's houses and collecting food, as they were unable to afford it themselves. I guess this year isn't that much different. However, I will point out another Phineas and Ferb episode that would be considered as another Halloween-like episode - "The Monster of Phineas-N-Ferbenstein". According to a story told by Grandpa Fletcher, one of Ferb's Victorian ancestors helps a mad scientist named Phineastein create a Platypus monster. Many elements from the present day are incorporated even back then, so one has to wonder what screwed everything over and why the show's top pairings are not related in the present time. Meh, it was just a story anyways, so who knows if it actually happened back then. Perhaps it was just a means to show off this television show's elements and running gags in past lives as well.

So, can I ask again what you users are doing this Halloween? Tradition is upheld for me, so I'm gonna attempt to do what I did last year. Man, wishing the year away is such a drag...

The Missing Episodes

With the remaining Season 2 episodes having scheduled air dates on Disney Channel and Disney XD, it seems that only 36 out of 39 ordered episodes have been revealed. Three are missing (236, 237, and 238). With no new episodes set to air on Disney Channel next month and the remaining episodes (Split Personality/Brain Drain and Wizard of Odd) airing on Disney XD next month, that leaves us with three unnamed and unrevealed episodes, assuming that Season 3 begins next year. Until anything else is further revealed, I will be referring to these episodes as "the lost episodes".

Thank you, come again.

Division of Labor

Evidently, on iTunes, the Phineas and Ferb episodes have now been divided up into volumes, with 13 episodes apiece. This apparently means that the later volumes are being mistaken as season numbers, which is not cool because in actuality, there have been only three seasons of Phineas and Ferb so far. Now, unless I could go in and clean it up after fully downloading some of these (because "Cliptastic Countdown" is finally available, I should mention), I don't wanna ask what this world is coming to, but... what is this world coming to? I must set things right.

Triple Dates

10-10-10... What's the significance of these "triple dates", I wonder? Are they such momentous occasions? True, these kinds of dates come round once in a hundred years or so, but apart from that, they don't seem to mean anything. What special thing happens? Not special release dates or anything, that's for certain. The triple date three years ago, 07-07-07, was hoped to be the release date of the seventh Harry Potter book, but it wasn't meant to be. So what's the significance of these "triple dates"? And what's the significance of this blog entry anyway?

Meh, guess I was just bored...

A-maze-ing! Phineas and Ferb new episodes are back on!

It appears that Disney Channel is spicing up and airing new Phineas and Ferb episodes once again! Sure, they may be episodes we've heard of and possibly seen in different languages, but they're new over here in America. Also, it seems that Disney Channel is back to airing new episodes first, something Disney XD held the honors of since its debut back in February 2009. It's taken two years so far for Phineas and Ferb to run through Season 2 and unless production was slow or delayed, it's kind of unclear as to why this was. Today's featured character on my blog is cute, little Melissa, a Fireside Girl in training and it is presumed that she is named for Dan Povenmire's other daughter, as Isabella is named for his oldest daughter. Hey, it makes sense for me!

The most recently aired episodes on Disney Channel included "We Call It Maze", in which Phineas and Ferb built their own backyard maze to create a challenge for themselves (and in some cases, to improve Candace's roller skating for her date with Jeremy), and "Ladies and Gentlemen, Meet Max Modem", in which Candace finds out that her mother was once the pop star Lindanna via television. This was the very episode in which Phineas and Ferb find out about their mother's one-hit wonder career, although strangely enough, they appeared to know about it already, expressing their disbelief that Candace never figured it out.

Well, that's all for now, fans! This is surely a start that Phineas and Ferb is on the way to roll out with Season 3 at long last!

LePage is more like LePrat

Yeah, you heard me right, folks, and I'm not sorry. This Republican idiot is gonna get himself busted more than he thinks. Have you heard all his verbal attacks against Democrats and the President? You know, he used to have a popularity boost, but now it's become a shrinkage just barely behind Mitchell, our Democrat candidate. So you see, Republican scum, all they ever do is attack us Democrats not giving a shit about our country, our people, or the economy. They just say things like how bad Democrats are doing their job, yet I don't believe they can do any better. No, their plan is to just insult us to no end, and judging on this popularity shrinkage Mr. LePrat has hit, I'd say some smart people are catching on. Still, if anyone's voting for this tyrant wanna-be, it's because voters either have no sense or LePrat is frightening them into voting for him. It's voting through intimidation, I tell you, and I for one am not falling for it. Ah, glory to free speech!

Boo, No Classics

Today, the Japanese are rejoicing over the release of the new games Pokémon Black and Pokémon White. However, I've noticed quite a few things that shatter traditions from third and fourth generations into a million pieces. First and foremost, the new Pokédex consists of entirely new Pokémon, not a single classic from generations one through four. However, these 156 new Pokémon now brings the final total number of species up to 649! Another thing that breaks tradition is two less HMs, being replaced with three additional TMs, making a game-breaking record of 101 machine moves. Also, it seems that the Gym Leader's rosters as well as those of Elite Four seem to be cutting back, Gym Leaders having only three Pokémon and the Elite Four having... four. Although all the gyms have some kind of puzzle-solving stuff on the inside, there still must be a good reason why the top trainers of the new region are not coming at the player with an army. But what's interesting to note is that the Gym Leaders are more variant than in previous games. The first Gym Leader will vary depending on your starter Pokémon, naturally using the special type yours is weak against a la rival style. The eighth Gym Leader will vary depending on the version and it turns out the one in Pokémon White is the same girl who is to accompany Ash on his travels in the new region! It'll be interesting to see where the anime turns from there, especially if Ash still has the goal of collecting eight badges and participating in the region's League tournament. Based on previous outcomes in previous leagues in previous seasons, I bet he'll lose again. Ha, ha! So although tradition is somewhat no longer tradition, there's still much to look forward to, especially since Famitsu has proven to give the games a perfect score.

...I still want Pokémon Black...

Out of Material

Lately, it has been made public, or announced, that more Phineas and Ferb songs have been made as demos before their final versions are released in future episodes, including "Rollercoaster: The Musical" and the TV movie. Fortunately, there is also proof to back it up, so we're expecting this material to appear at some point. The problem is, Disney Channel and Disney XD are not running a hot schedule, as many months this year have gone without airing any new episodes whatsoever, so Season 2 is slowing to a crawl, with only Disney Channel airing "Wizard of Odd" later this month. I mean, what's the deal? The show's popular enough, so what happened? I sincerely hope Spongebob didn't do a number on it or Phineas referencing Spongebob and Patrick's uselessness was taken as an offense.

Seriously, some people have no sense of humor, but they have no right to defend Spongebob from anything, even getting flushed down the toilet along with his pride and popularity.

Sweet Dreams

Today is the day that the North American version of Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep is finally released! Now gamers will get to experience the beginning of the saga in English! I, however, must sit this one out due to lacking a PSP, so I will wait around and view English cutscenes once YouTube or other video sources have them available. Go, Kingdom Hearts fans! Get this game already! That is, if you have a PSP...

At the End of the War

In the latest Presidential Address to the nation, President Obama officially declared the war in Iraq over after the last of the combat troops were withdrawn. Of course, not every American has returned, but the combat ops have come to an end after nearly a decade of seemingly ceaseless fighting. Well, the President did promise us an end to this war that he opposed back when he was a senator, a war that former President Bush should not have gotten us involved in. On a good note, Obama also never mentioned the term "victory", but simply said the mission was over. Saying the word "victory" is a mistake former President Bush would certainly make, or already made for that matter. I say, "Well spoken, Mr. President" in regards to his nationwide speech. And anyone who dares to oppose me can just... eh, I'm not gonna say it.

So well done, President Obama! You have my support all the way!

Highlight of the Summer

With yet another summer coming to a close, although technically, it doesn't end until the first official day of autumn later next month, so maybe with another summer vacation coming to a close, let's ask ourselves. What was the highlight of it all? What was the best thing about it? In case my answer's not obvious by now, it was the 1-hour special episode of Phineas and Ferb, "Summer Belongs To You"! It was definitely worth the wait! Now to wait for something even longer... the day the show will finally surpass Spongebob Squarepants, Nickelodeon's highest-rated TV show. That's the real challenge, isn't it? But Phineas and his friends have what it takes to expose Spongebob and his marine moron Patrick Star as the nautical nimrods they always have been. Yeah, I insult them now, so what are all you Spongebob lovers gonna do about it? Besides, Phineas even makes a reference to their uselessness in the 1-hour special by digging up a yellow-colored kitchen sponge and a starfish, stating the ridiculousness of making something useful with them, although he was half insane at the time. And of course, there's the one thing I'm hoping for, along with many other fans I'm sure... an official hookup between Phineas and Isabella, my favorite fictional couple of all time! Hopefully it will happen, so we just have to believe!

I believe!

Wishing the Year Away

*sigh* The world of fiction seems to be running slowly nowadays. Phineas and Ferb still has no set date for the end of Season 2, despite its finale episode having aired already. The world of Pokémon is also at a slow pace, with things being revealed only bit by bit and waiting for at least a couple more months before the fifth-generation games get released in Japan. Still no word from what's next in the Kingdom Hearts saga, as the 3DS game has barely revealed much while Kingdom Hearts III is still on hold. Even Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's is going nowhere fast. The problem is that wishing for all this great stuff to come to us, it's like wishing the year away and then once a new year begins, the next thing I know, it's halfway over, like Halloween and Christmas is coming in the blink of an eye. Everything's over before our eyes! That was what happened with 2009. I expected greatness within that year and it was over before I knew it. And now I fear the same thing is happening with this year and it could easily in 2011. So, we gotta ask ourselves... seriously... is all this really worth the wait?

Summer Belongs To iTunes!

Starting today, the Phineas and Ferb episode "Summer Belongs To You" is now finally available on iTunes. It was originally planned to become available for download on the 7th, but unknown circumstances pushed it back a few days, I guess. Anyways, what'cha doin just sitting around? Fans, get your butts over to the iTunes Store and purchase the episode already! You don't want to miss this one! It made the top 3 telecasts of the year when it aired on Disney XD and many users and fans seem to think it's the best episode so far! So go get it!

Synchro Gods

The Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Trading Card Game and the anime series have introduced us to unique legendary cards that prove their power to be like no other. First, there were the three Egyptian Gods, Obelisk the Tormentor, Slifer the Sky Dragon, and The Winged Dragon of Ra. Then, in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, the three Sacred Beasts were introduced and based on their appearances, said to be equivalents to the Egyptian Gods. The Sacred Beast cards actually held the honors of being playable "God" cards first. In the Yu-Gi-Oh! R manga, the Wicked Gods came along and in the card game, they were made into Dark attribute monsters in order to be legal playable cards. In Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, the equivalents seemed to be the terrifying Earthbound Immortals, but there were seven as opposed to the traditional three, so it didn't seem to be the case. As for the Egyptian God cards, their original versions are considered illegal, but now they are being remade into playable cards and appropriately enough, have had their abilities toned down in order to be legit. So what are the new "God" cards for Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's? Well, here's the answer. They are currently called "Polar Gods" in Japanese and there are three of them, named after the Norse gods. Like the Egyptian Gods, they are also exclusive in that they are Divine attribute monsters, but this time, they are all Synchro Monsters, and to be summoned, they currently require a Tuner Monster and two non-Tuner monsters, sticking to the rule of sacrificing three monsters on the field. They seem to be overly powerful and now they are planned to be released in Japan's newest upcoming booster pack, Storm of Ragnarok. And you can be assured that they'll be toned down quite heavily. But still, what awesome power they possess...

Summer Belongs To Phineas and Ferb!

WARNING! SPOILERS! This post contains spoilers regarding the 1-hour special episode of Phineas and Ferb, "Summer Belongs To You". View at your own risk, or try not to look for that matter, if you wish to see the episode and find out for yourself what happens.

With the 1-hour special of Phineas and Ferb having come and gone, high-rated reviews as expected have come pouring in. So just you wait, Spongebob Squarepants! This show's gonna beat you out yet! Besides, who wants to keep watching a show full of idiots, money-grabbers, and cynics anyway? This show's way better, fans! And it looks like the episode packed a few hidden surprises Dan and Swampy kept from us. Phineas, Ferb, Candace, Isabella, Buford, and Baljeet all successfully traveled around the world in a single day arriving not a moment too late back in the Flynn-Fletcher backyard where they started. Of course, there were a few unexpected mishaps, snags, and twists along the way. One thing noticeable about this episode is that it seems to improve the relationship between Phineas and Isabella. And the puzzling irony is that while Isabella was devoid of Phineas giving her attention in Paris, they dance together in the final musical number, holding hands as well, while Phineas gives Isabella loads of attention. Maybe he was just happy that she got him back on his feet when he was feeling down and he managed to accomplish his biggest task ever.

But the biggest surprise of all is the significant improvement in Candace and Jeremy's relationship, the show's most anticipated pairing. That's right, fans! Your eyes are not deceiving you nor is this image false. Candace and Jeremy share their first kiss ever. THIS is the episode plot where Candace and Jeremy are officially boyfriend and girlfriend. They even say it, so it's official. It was originally supposed to happen somewhere in Season 3, so it certainly must have surprised Candace and Jeremy fans that Dan and Swampy decided to toss this in a little early. Also, many fans are agreeing that this episode marks the Season 2 finale, despite not all the episodes having aired yet. This television show is far from finished and it has the potent of beating out even the best shows from other networks, including Nickelodeon's Spongebob Squarepants. So what's taking so long?

Candace Times Two!

As if dealing with Candace and her own crazy antics of the futility of busting her younger brothers, Phineas and Ferb, is maddening enough, in another episode that hasn't yet aired here on Disney Channel and Disney XD in the United States, Candace falls victim to a molecular divider the stepbrothers' built and is split in two! Like in most fictional series that revolve around incidents, Candace's alter egos have whole sides of separate personalities. That is to say, one side is completely focused on her love for Jeremy and one side is twisted and hell-bent on busting her brothers. If you thought Candace was crazy then, in this episode her bust-personality is completely mad and insane! And her sweet side really isn't any better because she disturbs Jeremy during his shift and before Jeremy agrees to kiss her as a token of remembrance, the mad Candace intervenes and pulls her away at the last minute!

And here's a screen shot of Candace who has now somehow become split into thirteen beings! How in the hell will this ever get settled? We'll have to find out should the episode ever make it here. There isn't a doubt, but what's taking so long?

Voldemort vs. Xehanort

Fun fact about them - their names actually rhyme and they both have three syllables.

Take a good look at these two villains of fiction and try to decide on your own terms which one is worse. Let's go through comparisons of what they've done to beloved heroes to get a clearer idea:

Lord Voldemort
- Became interested in dark magic at an early age as a Hogwarts student Tom Riddle, ever since he left Hogwarts he twisted his own soul by killing others, thus ripping it into eight pieces.
- Committed mass murder for decades, showing no mercy and remorse, bent on recreating the world in his own image
- His main enemy target was Harry Potter, who eventually killed him when his wand backfired and rebounded his own Killing Curse right back at him.
- Lord Voldemort was UGLY!
- The mastermind behind Voldemort's character is British novelist J.K. Rowling, author of the Harry Potter book series.

Master Xehanort
- Grew up on Destiny Islands and became interested in other worlds, as an old man he showed interests in darkness and manipulated Terra to release his inner darkness for his plans.
- Caused eleven years of suffering across many different worlds using the Heartless and Nobodies, when he became Xemnas, his mind warped into insanity and his desire was to seek power over everything to become a ruler of his own world
- Has no real target enemy, except anyone who stands in his way, particularly, Sora, the Keyblade's chosen, although Xehanort's Heartless and Xemnas were both slain, they were done so in that order, so while Voldemort is dead, Xehanort is still alive and out there somewhere...
- Master Xehanort is NOT ugly. Old, maybe.
- The mastermind behind Xehanort's character is Tetsuya Nomura, renowned Final Fantasy character designer and the main director behind the Kingdom Hearts series.

So, who's worse? Voldemort or Xehanort? You decide. Perhaps future Kingdom Hearts games will give us more insight on Xehanort (a back story, hopefully), which could help even the score or tip the scales...

Another Side, Another Phantom

Even before the official Japanese releases of the games Pokémon Black and Pokémon White, we are introduced to the equivalent of the ever-unobtainable Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Manaphy, and Shaymin, but this time its official number in the new Pokédex is... #000? We've already heard of a Phantom Champion, but this entry is what really makes a mysterious phantom Pokémon. And wait a minute... Wasn't the last #000 entry the infamous glitch Missingno. from the original Pokémon games Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue? Well, it doesn't matter! This cute tyke is officially Pokémon #000, not some dreadful game-crashing glitch. As with the others, this critter will only be able to be obtained via special events, so keep a sharp eye, fans. Also, the little guy is officially the first Pokémon to give us the "V for victory" pose, not counting Pikachu and others in the anime.

Also, on an interesting note, regarding the Phineas and Ferb one-hour special, during one of the several songs, we are to be presented with official anime versions of the main cast of characters. And thank goodness Phineas and Ferb didn't lose the triangle and F-shaped rectangle heads! We expect to see more when the episode airs on Disney Channel and Disney XD. Those who attended the international Comic-Con in San Diego, California may have got an early chance...

Fanshippings - Stacy and ????

So, how many of you fans like to support couples? Of course, I do. Well, today I'm gonna bring up something worth noting regarding (you guessed it) the TV show Phineas and Ferb. In an episode known as "The Secret of Success" (not yet aired here in the U.S., but originally was to on March 20), Stacy asks Candace to attend a seminar with her. Although the seminar itself is apparently boring, as Stacy falls asleep during the session, she meets a boy named Chad and seems to take a liking to him instantly, as she lets him sit next to her, Candace having run off earlier in a futile attempt to bust her brothers, and after the seminar ends they are seen taking a walk together. Stacy and Chad, huh? And last we fans checked, wasn't she with Coltrane, Jeremy's friend, in the episode "The Baljeatles"? Then again, Stacy did persuade Candace to come to the seminar on the grounds that there might be "cute boys" attending, which convinced her. So for all we know, Chad may just have been introduced for that sake alone, but then again...

Eh, what do I know? Besides, this isn't the couple I'm gonna keep my eyes glued to any time soon. Hell, I'm not holding my breath on Candace and Jeremy either, seeing as Dan and Swampy themselves said that they're gonna get hooked up at some point in Season 3, so it's obvious. The numero uno couple I'm gonna keep tabs on, cross my fingers, and hope for, is...

Aloha, Phineas and Ferb!

The Hawaiian episode has come and gone and now that it has aired on both Disney Channel and Disney XD, it is now available on iTunes as well! And as it turns out, this isn't the hour-long episode that was mentioned to air this summer. Nah, this was just a warm-up. The true hour-long episode is coming in August along with another new episode halfway through the month!

Even though the Hawaiian episode is only another half-hour episode, there's still loads of fun and humor packed into it. In Part I, the stepbrothers are up to their old antics again with one of their unbelievable activities. This time, they create life size aqua primates, or "A-Primes" and they do the "A-Prime Calypso", but instead of Candace trying to bust them, the hotel manager attempts to do the honors, which of course leads to epic fail. Meanwhile Dr. Doofenshmirtz attempts to devolve all human life with his de-evolution-nator, but Perry the Platypus is again able to stop him by causing the machine to backfire. In Part II, Candace is cursed with bad luck when she finds a tiki charm and is eventually told to take it to the top of a volcano to be rid of it. But at the top is a fancy restaurant where her family is waiting and due to her charm wins a free dessert. However, Candace turns it down, as expected, because... well, that's the way she acts when it comes down to things like this. Meanwhile, Dr. Doofenshmirtz and Perry are stranded on an island until the scientist steals a boat and is subsequently swallowed by a whale from the O.W.C.A. named Agent W. Perry and Major Monogram resume their vacation and Candace ends up stuck on an escalator.

Oops, sorry for the spoilers, but I didn't bring up that many details, so why don't you fans see the episode for yourselves? And with that... aloha!

Time Is Short...

Dan and Swampy continue to pleasantly surprise Phineas and Ferb fans yet! Once at a Comic-Con convention, they were asked about the possibility of a 1-hour episode and a movie. The answers were kept in suspense... until now. One of my previous entries confirms the movie, but now, it seems that we will be getting an hour-long episode after all!

This month, Phineas and Ferb Hawaiian Vacation, is set to air on July 9th on Disney Channel and July 12th on Disney XD. And the hour-long episode is to air next month according to an event known as "Phineas and Ferb: Summer Belongs To You". Phineas and Ferb fans, brace yourselves! The summer 2010 event that was mentioned a while ago is already here and running!

Best Wishes

And now there's word, according to leaked sources, that the long-running Pokémon anime series is going to have episodes based on the games Pokémon Black and Pokémon White! But this time, things will be a little different. Firstly, the female Pokémon trainer from the games is not set to be an anime character - instead, a completely new female character will be introduced, bringing a whole new look to this series that continues to be based off the popular games. And like Brock from Kanto, she will also be accompanied by one of the new region's Gym Leaders, but Ash Ketchum is still set to be the central character. So not to worry, fans of Ash!

Triple Threat

Yesterday in Japan, a recent trailer for the upcoming games Pokémon Black and Pokémon White was revealed, and it showed quite a lot. Firstly, it seems that cut scenes will be even more detailed and dynamic and the prospect of talking with characters up close based on various Japanese games is introduced. Secondly, even more Pokémon were revealed, but of course English names are coming way later. Thirdly, a new style of battle makes it debut, as Pokémon trainers will now be able to engage in triple battles, meaning up to three Pokémon on both sides can duke it out, bringing the world of Pokémon into a true RPG experience! Finally, the games are scheduled for release in Japan on September 18, 2010. Looks like a ton of development is going into the fifth generation of Pokémon! Fans will definitely be looking forward to this!

To Abuse a Position of Power

Last night, Phineas and Ferb made a comeback with two new episodes after a few months of reruns. In the first segment, Candace is elected town mayor for a day as a result of an essay she wrote on (you guessed it) busting her brothers. But due to her status of no apparent knowledge of politics, she lets her status as mayor get to her head and eventually uses her position as her latest attempt to chew out her brothers, Phineas and Ferb, who have used modern tools to recreate a pioneer town in their backyard. Meanwhile, the real mayor, Roger Doofenshmirtz, takes his time off to play golf with his brother, the evil Heinz Doofenshmirtz. Since the good doctor finds golf tedious, he creates a device capable of speeding up time, apparently well aware of the drawbacks, but for his sake anything to finish the game faster. As usual, his inventions coincidentally clash with Phineas and Ferb's activities, so for those of you who haven't seen the episode, your prediction of what will happen is not a bad guess. What happened in the end was actually what I guessed would happen.

And in the second portion, when Phineas and Ferb decide on what to do for another fun day, Stacy feels neglected by Candace's persistence of wasting her time trying to rat them out and makes Candace choose between her as a best friend or continue her futile efforts to bust her brothers. Candace chooses the latter while Phineas and Ferb build a seemingly simple lemonade stand, but decide to expand their franchise and Candace does not notice at first, having been bummed by her decision. Ultimately, her friendship with Stacy is put to the test near the end of the episode and after the outcome... well, let's just say that one can only hope she'll stop wasting her summer away and let things come naturally.

So, there we have it. One of the greatest TV shows of all time has finally bounced back with new episodes. Now, what about that summer 2010 event that was said to come?

Reshiram and Zekrom

Evidently, according to the official Pokémon site, not only is an English release date for Pokémon Black and Pokémon White expected for Spring 2011, but it appears that their cover Pokémon have had their English names revealed as well... Reshiram and Zekrom. In that case, these two legendary creatures have the honors of being the first fifth generation Pokémon to have their English names revealed, which are pretty much the same as their original Japanese names. Now here's the twist. Reshiram, the white-colored angelic-looking Pokémon is currently the cover of Pokémon Black, while Zekrom, the black-colored demonic-looking Pokémon is currently the cover of Pokémon White. If this holds true, then for the first time ever, we've got us some Pokémon games named for the color of the background instead of the cover Pokémon, leading to something you don't see every day! Odd, isn't it?

Let's Hear It For Versatility

Two days ago, we received word from Square Enix of the overseas release dates of the upcoming PSP game Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, September 7, 2010 for North America and September 10, 2010 for Europe. To make things even more interesting, we have also been provided with five new all-star voices, including Mark Hamill, Willa Holland, Jesse McCartney, Leonard Nimoy, and James Woods. Judging on the English trailer, we are given the impression that Leonard Nimoy, famously known as Spock from Star Trek, has graciously provided the voice of antagonist Master Xehanort. We have also assumed that Jesse McCartney has provided the voice of Ventus, as he did for Roxas in Kingdom Hearts II and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, but we'll have to wait and see. But what certainly surprised me and my brother is that Mark Hamill, famously known for his role of Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker from the original Star Wars more than 30 years ago, has provided a voice for the Kingdom Hearts saga. And having already voiced the main antagonist from Avatar: The Last Airbender, Fire Lord Ozai, we should certainly praise the man for being what we call versatile. And according to speculation, we should expect the following lineup for who does what voice:

Mark Hamill - Master Eraqus
Willa Holland - Aqua
Jesse McCartney - Ventus
Leonard Nimoy - Master Xehanort
James Woods - Hades (need we say more?)

Black and White This!

Evidently, screen shots from Japanese sources have recently revealed the new starter Pokémon from the upcoming fifth generation games, Black and White. According to their classifications, the Grass-type is listed as a Grass Snake Pokémon, the Fire-type is a Fire Pig Pokémon, and the Water-type is a Sea Otter Pokémon. And as expected, their abilities are Overgrow, Blaze, and Torrent respectively, of course, of course. But then again, not everything has been considered official yet, but we'll soon enough when that time comes. Till then, happy catching!

Brutal Mario RPG

Those of you fans who derive interest in Super Mario World hacks, here's some news. If you remember, I stated in an earlier post that Japanese hackers are capable of surpassing our skills, particularly with hacks such as the Vip Wall Mix series and Brutal Mario. In this case, I am discussing Brutal Mario, a Japanese Super Mario World hack created independently by the Japanese user Carol, who is apparently a genius with ASM. Earlier demos hinted that while level designing was not way up on the hot list, the ASM in the hack more than made up for it with loads of custom bosses, several from video games that were only released in Japan. But now it seems that Carol has given Brutal Mario an entirely new makeover, as hinted by the newest screenshots uploaded to the VIP Wiki website, and is now giving the hack even more of an RPG style than ever before. I always did think that the boss battle with Zeal from Chrono Trigger would be a full-on RPG battle and it looks like it darn may well be with this new ASM enhancement! Also, the file select now has an ASM feature that keeps track of the current time spent playing, a typical RPG feature. Looks like this is still gonna be one hell of a hack when it is finally released in its entirety! Here's to you, Carol! Keep at it!

Team Rocket's Last Stand?

As some of us Pokémon fans have learned from the fourth generation games HeartGold and SoulSilver, Team Rocket returns under the command of four executives - Proton, Petrel, Ariana, and Archer. This kind of thing makes me think it would be sort of cool if these four were to make an appearance in the anime series or even if Team Rocket came back for the upcoming fifth generation games, which might not be likely. Still, if anything, this certainly gives us a more in-depth look of the most notoriously known criminal syndicate in the history of Pokémon. As it should be said, there's nothing like the originals, but it seems more of a chance that something new will come along in Black and White. May HeartGold and SoulSilver bring us a long-lasting tribute to the Rockets, as this may be their last stand. Good riddance, Team Rocket...

Remembering Ray

WARNING! SPOILERS! This post contains spoilers regarding the latest Disney animated film, The Princess and the Frog. View at your own risk, or try not to look for that matter, if you wish to see for yourself what happens.

You know, there's another air of tragedy besides Ray, the lovable Cajun firefly, dying on us in the film's end. Rumor has it that from here on out, Disney is stopping with its traditional 2-D animation here and now and continuing its CGI work seen in films such as Bolt. Not to mention, an upcoming film that will feature a character to become the tenth Disney Princess is now being entitled "Tangled" instead of simply being called "Rapunzel" and quite frankly, it is said that there is much displeasure over the decision. Kinda makes you wonder if the Disney studio is slipping up in their reputation. Whatever was wrong with the classic animated films such as Home on the Range and The Princess and the Frog? Personally, I do not take the latter's "not meeting Disney's expectations as successful" or "aimed towards girl audiences" as an excuse. There's plenty of stuff that makes me think otherwise, such as the word mucus being used and plenty of dark magic in the form of voodoo, especially during Facilier's musical number. I have to ask, "Where did this film go wrong?" and "What the heck is Disney doing?" Come on, classic, people! Classics! Sure, some of us like new generation stuff and expect CGI in films and such to show off new technology, but can't at least Disney keep a tradition alive? And that is my positive review of The Princess and the Frog. Yes, the film was that good from my point of view. I hope Walt Disney isn't rolling around in his grave for this whole ordeal of no more traditional animation from here on.

Actually, scratch that. Disney may just uphold tradition after all!

New Games, Old-Style Colors

Apparently, the 5th generation Pokémon games are currently titled Pokémon Black and Pokémon White. With these colors chosen for game names, this means that with a brand-new generation, the naming has gone back to old-school naming using colors instead of fancy jewel names. But judging on some screen shots, there appears to be a lot more of 3D transition compared to previous generations. At least the games themselves are still planned for the original Nintendo DS so far, despite hearing of new Nintendo hand-held devices, so for those of you who have a Nintendo DS, let's keep those hopes up! Personally, I thought I was gonna retire from Nintendo DS game collecting... guess that might be waiting a little longer...

The Neverending Story

The user Ultima The High Seraph from Kingdom Hearts Wikia has stated the following:

"In a recent interview, series director Tetsuya Nomura has stated that there will be three new Kingdom Hearts games in the near future. Two of these will be spin-offs to the main series, and the third will be the long awaited
Kingdom Hearts III! That's right, all of you fan-fiction-creating fans, it has finally been announced! Even better, Tetsuya Nomura has stated that Kingdom Hearts III will not be the end of the Kingdom Hearts series; there will be much more to come! One of the two spin-offs is expected to be released this year, but Kingdom Hearts III will not be released until Final Fantasy Versus XIII is released, the current project of Nomura's team."

With many more Kingdom Hearts games and projects to come, the future of this epic world-traveling series is looking brighter than ever! Rejoice, fans!

April Fools?

Actually, I don't think it is. Well, we'll soon find out in the coming days whether this is official or not. Read this for more info.

Happy April Fool's Day! (Why do I say these things anyway? I should be saying "Happy Easter!")
