Sunrise

Well, I'm off, there's no map for this lit up path
But there'll always be ups and down
I've got a hunch that I'll be free

I feel like you're always smiling by my side

They're waiting for us, at the end of the waves
At the end of the clouds
I'm looking for the prisms of sunlight
That slip through the gaps in my fingers

The soft, tender feeling you gave me
It's telepathy, it's magic
I feel it even without words

Wrapped in a warm dream, a wind blowing in my heart

It's an endlessly long way to the end of that wind
The end of the stars
I felt like I thought I could hear you
Saying 'flare up, run!' somewhere

They're waiting for us, at the end of the waves
At the end of the clouds
I'm looking for the prisms of sunlight
That slip through the gaps in my fingers

It's an endlessly long way to the end of that wind
The end of the stars
I felt like I thought I could hear you
Saying 'flare up, run!' somewhere

The waves are blue, the clouds are high
The wind is fragrant, the stars shine
My voice echoes way off into the distance
I smile, you do too

What's Yet to Come

So 2012 looks promising... Meh, that's what I said about this year and 2009, wasn't it? I'm not even gonna bother to make a list of what's coming because it's probably better that way. Let's just hope for good things to come our way and leave it at that.

Merry Christmas!

As I said earlier, I would get to showing the three Magi cards of my creation, this time as they would appear in OCG/TCG form. And as you can see, like the Aesir and the Sacred Beasts before them, they have been toned down quite a bit. They have different Attributes and are all Spellcaster-Type monsters. You can see my previous post on them for comparison if you'd like. Again, the deviantART user ryben-d36hnch gets all the credit for the images I used for the cards, as I found them on the user's account. Also, I strongly believe this should not be considered sacrilegious because the wise men in the Christmas story are part of what Christmas is all about - the birth of Jesus Christ our Lord and savior. Amen.

Merry Christmas!

I So Don't Get This. Enough, People.

Look here, I know well enough that love and flings are present in just about any form of fiction one way or another, maybe not, but as far as the Disney Junior show Little Einsteins goes, I have to say these crazy Internet users have gone too far. Current entries on Wikipedia pages are now claiming that the characters Leo and June have crushes on each other and I'm afraid I'm not convinced. Similar claims also mention Leo is the leader of the Little Einsteins. Okay, sure. That's not a bad thing to list if Leo has shown leadership skills. I wouldn't know because I haven't seen the show myself, just various clips here and there. But I seriously think Wikipedia editors should draw the line at the prospect of Leo and June having crushes on each other. Little Einsteins is not that kind of show at all, so if there's any flings, they should be saved for a full Disney film. Now, unless any of you users out there can prove me wrong on this, which I seriously doubt you will, as far as I'm concerned I'm dissing this would-be "couple". Good day.

The Creator of All

Recognize this card? The Creator of Light is the one who defeated Zorc the Dark One in the original Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series after King Atem remembered his name at long last. When the three Egyptian Gods merge together, they form this, The Creator God of Light, Horakhty. And now, at long last, there exists an actual card of this literally unstoppable force in the OCG. And like the Egyptian God reprints, it is autographed by Kazuki Takahashi himself. What makes this card unstoppable is that not only is it an Instant Win card, causing the player who Summoned it to win a Duel, but its Summon cannot be negated, so there's no way to stop this Instant Win condition! However, it requires that all three of the Egyptian Gods to be sacrificed in order to be Special Summoned from the hand (and no cheap tricks because they have to be the original printed names of the gods), so it could easily be considered the hardest monster to summon in the history of the card game. But there may be a few tricks that can help, such as swarming the field in order to make summoning the Egyptian Gods a little easier. Still, with this card making a release, it's gotta be a major breakthrough at most. And the best part is, it still looks to be a legit card!

Tough Love

It's hard to be an older sibling when the little one gets all the attention. And that's exactly what happens to poor Cera in The Land Before Time XII: Great Day of the Flyers. It seems her family problems span over the course of two movies, so she must have been suffering. First, Tria came into the picture, and then she and Topps, Cera's father, became mates and had an egg. When Tricia finally hatches, she gets much of her family's love and attention, as Cera had worried. There was a similar back story in a Simpsons episode in which a flashback scene shows Bart getting jealous of all the attention his newborn sister Lisa gets from his parents. But one thing changes all that for both instances. Both Tricia and Lisa speak their first words, which happen to be the names of their older siblings. Lisa toddled into Bart's room and says her first word, "Bart", right to him. After Cera saves Tricia from falling to her almost certain death, she says her first word, "Cera" (pronounced as "Cewa" because she's still a baby) to her, much to the excitement of Cera and her parents. Nothing special in this post here. Just a little something to share some family love and point some interesting similarities. Actually, I haven't found a synopsis on The Land Before Time XII: Great Day of the Flyers anywhere on the Internet yet, not even Wikipedia. What gives? Will I have to see that movie myself?

Animatic

My own hard work pays off yet again, this time with an animatic, my first one! It features my trademark original character, Bow the Cat, interacting with a door, as the school assignment stated that a student's original character must interact with a door during this animation sequence. The music used in this video is not mine, so I'm bringing along a disclaimer with this post. All credit and copyrights regarding the music goes to respective owners, creators, and composers. Let's see if you users can guess the two music tracks I picked out for this video.

One-Sided Love, One-Sided Episode

Just as I expected, nothing special between Phineas and Isabella at all, even in the second Christmas episode. What did you fans expect anyway? Like I said, the movie had its chance and blew it completely, so there's no hope at all. Maybe Isabella should give up, like she could have in "Summer Belongs To You". There's no way. But that's not the point of this post, so let me get on topic before I lose track of things. The real deal is that the episode is somehow already up on iTunes as a single episode instead of a paired episode! Now that is something unique and has never been done before on the Phineas and Ferb selection on iTunes. But again, I'm still wondering here... what's going on?

We Three Kings of Yu-Gi-Oh! Are

In light of the holiday season for 2011, I have decided to introduce from my creations on Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Maker (although YuGiCo is good for making Xyz cards, Card Maker is still good for a few things such as custom sub-types), three new equivalents of the Egyptian Gods, the Sacred Beasts, and the Aesir - behold, the three Magi (Wise Gods)! I should not think this is inappropriate nor sacrilegious for a couple of reasons. Firstly, I didn't come up with these images, some user from deviantART known as ryben-d36hnch did. So the images belong to that user, not me. Secondly, if the game starts naming cards for sources outside of Japan, such as Norse mythology, then anyone could have come up with this. Also, you might notice that the cards I made up are in fact the Epoch monsters I mentioned back at the beginning of the year. As I said before, Epoch Monsters are formed by sending Epoch Material Monsters from either the field or hand to the Graveyard, so they are easier to summon than Synchro and Xyz monsters. However, to maintain tradition of sacrificing three monsters from the field to summon a God card, the three Magi can only be Epoch Summoned using monsters on the field, not the hand. And these are just cards as they would appear in an anime series, seeing as the Aesir did not keep their Divine-Beast-Type nor their Divine attribute when they became trading cards. The same will go for the Magi, but I'll get to that some other time.

A Third Phineas and Ferb Christmas

Well, fans, this is it. Today's the day that the second Phineas and Ferb Christmas special airs on television. It may be only 15 minutes in length as opposed to the original 45-minute special, but we're still looking at some good stuff as usual. And remember, please don't expect anything regarding Isabella and Phineas, even during her song. I certainly won't. Speaking of, what's with those dance scenes from "Ferb Latin"? Why are users on about that pairing just because they were seen dancing during that episode and the "Ferb Latin" song? Not only does it really not compare to them dancing in "Summer Belongs To You", but it's nothing new, so it's nothing special really. Anyways, enjoy the upcoming special!

iTunes gets a head start with Phineas and Ferb

On iTunes, apparently a Volume 7 has started with the paired episodes "Lotsa Latkes" and "Ferb Latin", and yet their Volume 6 is still incomplete with only twelve episodes. It makes me wonder what the last episode or paired episodes are gonna get selected - possibly "Doof Dynasty" and "The Tri-Stone Area", paired episodes that take place in alternate worlds. Not to mention "Bullseye" and "Escape from Phineas Tower" have aired, yet the episodes they are paired with, "Perry the Actorpus" and "Remains of the Platypus" have still not aired, with no signs of air dates whatsoever. In cases like these, now we have to wonder... what's going on?

Exceed the Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Maker by making Xyz!

Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Maker, get ready to step aside! There's a new online card creator in town, and it can make new Xyz monsters! It's the Card Creator section of YuGiCo and like Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Maker, it requires users to make an account in order to save their work online, but if you're just visiting and want to make cards the easy way, just save the image when you preview your custom creation and it'll work out just as fine. It is recommended that your card image is no bigger than 288 x 288 pixels (an image can easily be fixed in an image-editing program), create your card as whatever tickles your fancy, preview, save the image to your hard drive and you're good! Finally, Xyz monsters can be created in a fancy new way! Sure, the card images you create are bigger in size and a few things still can't quite be modified, but at least the quirks aren't worth quibbling over. This card image is my example (I know it's the popular Miku Hatsune, but meh). What will yours be?

The Gentleman Treatment

Recently, a shortened recording of the Phineas and Ferb episode "Doof Dynasty" has surfaced on the Internet and even though it is not in English language just yet, it seems that fans were anxious to see it - and most likely for the anticipated P.I. business, which should be left to private investigators, by the way. The thing is, as fun as it is to get hopes up for Phineas and Isabella pairing up, time and time again I must stress that they put too much of their hopes on the line, so that when the great disappointment comes to pass, they will all be crushed and bummed out severely. Although, viewers who saw the episode, or the biggest chunks of it, have already expressed their delight over all the Phineas and Isabella stuff that apparently happens in the episode, which in my opinion I see as nothing special. This is, after all, another world, where anything is possible and does not stay true to the Phineas and Ferb storyline. So, canonically, the events of "Doof Dynasty" would be considered null and void, lest anyone can prove anything otherwise. Good day.

Comin' at Ya, Sonic Speed!

After a long absence, Sonic the Hedgehog returns to Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade with a new gigantic balloon. He appeared today in the 85th annual parade to celebrate his 20th anniversary and the release of his latest adventure video game, Sonic Generations. No surprise that this time, the blue blur was first in line ahead of the other giant balloons. He is the world's fastest hedgehog, after all.

Pinocchio's World At Last!

Pinocchio's real world, Prankster's Paradise, if you remember was cut from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days due to data restrictions, but now it seems that in the upcoming Japanese game Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, the world is finally coming alive! Guess it still counts as a new Disney world. It's just that the characters will not be new of anything. And it seems that Pinocchio is still a wooden puppet instead of being a real boy like he was intended to be in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and half donkey as seen in Disney's feature film. Guess there will be more on this as the game comes closer to its eventual release. Psyched yet?

Christmas Covers

Get ready for a third Phineas and Ferb Christmas, and this time it's not the original special that's gonna be the highlight. Instead, a new special episode, "Phineas and Ferb's Family Christmas Special", is set to air December 2nd on Disney Channel. Here's an article for a source. It looks as though Kelly Clarkson is set for a guest appearance as herself in the episode and the songs include three classic Christmas carols straight from the Phineas and Ferb Holiday Favorites soundtrack, "Let it Snow", performed by Isabella, "Good King Wenceslas", performed by Baljeet and Buford (although it's pretty much as good as Buford's version of the song, not at all like the original, which may explain how he ended up on Santa's naughty list), and of course "We Wish You A Merry Christmas", performed by the cast of Phineas and Ferb (again, some altered lyrics, Phineas and Ferb style). Hmm... who knew? I'm sure fans have been dying to see Isabella's cover of "Let it Snow" animated since last year, but chances are, it's not gonna be what we think. And even if it is, it'll probably be nothing more than a figment. Pfft.

So What's Wrong With Simple Distribution?

As you Pokémon fans may know, another Victini is being distributed via Wi-Fi, this time in light of the two movies, one with Reshiram and one with Zekrom. Now how are those without Wi-Fi gonna manage? I mean, it's not like everyone who has a DS has Wi-Fi. This isn't because the 3DS is about to take over, is it? There was one event where players could download via wireless connection with Black and White for the first time, so why not this time? Is Victini really that overpowered? I myself do not have Wi-Fi, so this is probably worth complaining over.

Go Fourth

Read this, fans!

Looks like there's just no stopping these stepbrothers now! Candace couldn't and now it seems like Phineas and Ferb are dodging a whole lot more and fighting their way to the top of their game!

Challenge

Right, so how many of you went to this MangaFox and read the entirety of Kilala Princess, that manga that crossed anime/manga with the power of the original six Disney Princesses? You have to wonder how Kilala would react if she learned there were ten now, with an eleventh on the way. But never mind that. Here's the challenge I offer ye. How many similarities can you find between Kilala Princess and Kingdom Hearts? Name them and compare them and post them as comments on this post, if you please. This ought to be fun...

Waiting for the Feeling of Suspension

Good lord! What's this? Phineas and Ferb has now been said to join the number of shows that have had season finales ending on cliffhangers? Well, who'd have thought it? Whether this information has been leaked or not, according to sources, a Phineas and Ferb junior novel entitled "World Without a Platypus" is set for release midway through next year to coincide with the air date of the cliffhanging Season 3 finale episode, apparently sharing the title with the book. What could possibly be so suspenseful that events would have to carry on into a whole new season just to resolve things? Sure, we all knew that Dan and Swampy signed on to create a Season 4 for their show, but did that prompt them to do something like this? At least they won't leave fans in the dark this way. It is unknown if this whole matter could potentially break the show standards, but it should ultimately depend on the episode itself and the contents of its plot line. Like the summers of 2010 and 2011, this is yet another special that's surely gonna be the epic thing of the season! Long live Phineas and Ferb!

Happy Halloween, Phineas and Ferb!

For those of you who celebrate Halloween a la media, here's one more thing to add to that list of yours - the Phineas and Ferb episode "That's the Spirit!" This year, I am unable to participate in everything media-related to Halloween because of a busy college schedule, but I suggest the rest of you have fun with that at least. Besides, my days of classic trick-or-treating have long been over for years.

Tower of Terror At Large

Welcome to the world of Phineas and Ferb, where the universe is 50 times larger and the Milky Way Galaxy is now cut off from the rest of the universe thanks to a very rude tower with delusions of grandeur. So what's next, I wonder?

Way Ahead of Things

The Phineas and Ferb Wiki is at it again! Except that this time, they're claiming to have sources on this one. So what's the deal? Two more new episodes are inbound with the wiki claiming they will air using Disney Channel's On Demand service. The current Time Warner Cable schedule has seven episodes on the list, two of which are named "Remains of the Playtpus" and "A Phineas and Ferb Family Christmas". The first title indeed sounds preposterous and the second doesn't make sense. Firstly, we've already had a Christmas special and an extended version, so why do we need another? This would be the third year in the running that the original Christmas special will appear on television, but if something like this transpires, that means something else could be thought up of for the end of 2012! Not necessary, I say. The original Christmas special was good enough, but now I hear with the prospect of this, it's like... "Phineas and Ferb's Christmas Vacation" wasn't good enough, was it? As for "Remains of the Platypus", that alone is preposterous-sounding onto itself. Sure, the idea of an episode being told backwards is funny and on the ideal level of comedy for the show (I know a book chapter that did this in a way). The episodes "Lotsa Latkes" and "Ferb Latin" have already been confirmed, the latter having plenty of evidence to go forth with its air date. But... really, now... "Remains of the Platypus"? "A Phineas and Ferb Family Christmas"? Even if it's Christmas during summer, that's just... I don't know what that is.

Now me and my bro, we're way ahead of things
Went from a pair of jokers to a couple of kings
It goes to show you never know just what a schedule brings
Me and my bro, we're way ahead of things

Seeing Talent Should Inspire Us, Not Make Us Jealous

Check this out. And you will learn to be inspired if you know what's good for you. Anyone who's jealous of an artist's talents becomes an Internet troll hell-bent on ruination. Inspiration is one way to learn and succeed. I know I am inspired by a lot of things.

How Do You Attract Fans? With Pokémon.

It seems that Game Freak director Junichi Masuda has gained worldwide attention from Pokémon fans twice in one week by responding to questions and giving away information on the mysterious original character N. Fans were asking for remakes of the games Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire and he responded by mentioning their importance to him. Chances are, now we will see remakes at some point in the future. However, he did reveal a lot of interesting information on N, including his full name, his connection to Pokémon, and more. Evidently, seeing only Pokémon who had been mistreated by humans is not the only reason he distrusts humans. But maybe he really is the son of the evil Ghetsis after all...

The World Ends With Kingdom Hearts

As the development of the latest Kingdom Hearts game continues, the 2011 Tokyo Game Show revealed a demo, in which the Disney world based on The Hunchback of Notre Dame was shown and it appears that Neku Sakuraba, the main protagonist from the DS game The World Ends With You, is set to appear in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance as well. This is a character not from the Final Fantasy series or from Disney, but the game in which he's from was conceptualized by Tetsuya Nomura and Square Enix. And on an interesting note, in the Japanese version of the game, Neku was voiced by Kōki Uchiyama, who also voiced Roxas and Ventus in the Japanese versions of Kingdom Hearts. For now, this is just an interesting bit of information, as it's far too early to assume anything else. I mean, Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance is still in development after all.

Phineas and Ferb does a parody on a parody!

What happens when a parody of something well known is performed? That's right, it's funny! Now, what if one was to do a parody on a parody? In other words, let's take this for example. There exists a parody on the Twilight series known as True Blood, starring Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin. Now what if there was a parody on that already existing parody? You probably get something even funnier! And what better show to do it than Phineas and Ferb? Ah yeah, baby! In the episode "The Curse of Candace", there is a vampire movie that Candace watches with characters Jared, the handsome vampire, Kristen, his lover, and a werewolf. Interestingly enough, the True Blood stars return to voice Jared and Kirsten, sort of reprising their roles in a way, and Kristen is named after Kristen Stewart, the star from the Twilight movies. Also, Michael J. Fox from Teen Wolf provides the voice of the teenage werewolf as well, another means of reprising a role in a way. It looks like this month is ready to dish out a good scare, Phineas and Ferb style!

Happy Halloween!

Feeling the Flow

Apparently, 4kids remains undefeated in their reputation streak of airing Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series in English. Once again, they are in charge of licensing the Japanese series as the fourth, Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL, comes alive in English language on the CW4kids beginning October 15. I swear, the way they can find loopholes out of their messes is just crazy, but you have to admire their doggedness. Like in Yu-Gi-Oh! and Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, the main protagonist keeps his Japanese name, so Yuma Tsukumo stays the way he is. He's still an amateur duelist at first, but gradually improves with the help of his otherworldly companion, Astral, who gives him access to his Extra Deck, allowing him to summon the new Xyz Monsters. It's kind of like relying on Synchro Summoning to win duels all over again, in a way. The only current English names revealed include Bronk Stone and Tori Meadows, two good friends of Yuma.

But here's the deal. Because 4kids is in charge, it obviously means fans are gonna whine and mope about the kid-friendly company "butchering" the series down to a degrading level. For example, take this scene in episode 23 for instance, where Tori slaps Yuma for losing hope simply because he doesn't strike her as that kind of person at all. So this is how she helps him regain his confidence. And it works. Chances are, 4kids could omit this scene entirely, although they kept in some parts of Yusei and Jack having a fistfight in episode 43 of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's. Well, I guess we'll just have to wait and see. But Japan had better hurry up. They've only aired about 25 episodes and the English adaption is coming our way!

Good luck, 4kids!

A New Halloween Tradition

It appears as though Phineas and Ferb have a Halloween episode for real. It's not really a special, considering it's only 15 minutes long, which is your average episode length. If I recall correctly, these holiday stories are coming out as books first, even though their stories are completely different from the episodes that follow. The first Christmas story was a book, and then a special 45-minute episode. Now it's the same deal for Halloween, with the exception that the episode "That's the Spirit!" is 15 minutes in length. In this screenshot, Candace could have that typical expression for a number of reasons, all which could be theoretically correct. First of all, she's "baby-sitting" her brothers because of kids requiring supervision during trick-or-treating because it's nighttime. Secondly, she thinks that at her age, Halloween would probably be for babies, little kids... not her thing. Thirdly, she might not even like her costume. Or it could be all of the above or even an unspecified reason. But the real plot of this episode involved a house which is believed to be haunted while Agent P has to stop Doofenshmirtz who has accidentally transformed into a "were-cow" during a mind swap experiment out of his hatred for grass. Well, Doof can "work up animosity for almost anything", however barbaric and redundant this may be.

Happy Halloween!

Will We Get the ZEXAL Power?

It's hard to say, really. As many of you users may know, 4kids is facing issues with its Yu-Gi-Oh! anime licensing, but instead of getting handed a direct termination, it's been put on hold for the longest time. So this final turnout ought to be interesting. Will 4kids succeed and reprise their Yu-Gi-Oh! anime dubbing in the same manner as the previous three? Or will another existing dubbing company such as Studiopolis take over instead? You know, it could be bad enough that 4kids made the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's series finale end much earlier than the original Japanese version, that is, the English dub came to an end after Aporia's defeat in the WRGP finals and the whole Ark Cradle events were skipped out entirely. Kinda lame, but understandable, seeing as 4kids is still in hot water with their deals. But then again, the question still remains. Will they get the green light? Or will they stop forever at the red light?

Who's Number One Now?

Check it! Isn't this exciting?! It's finally happening! Phineas and Ferb is finally hitting ranks of No. 1 and in this case, it's now the top telecast among kids ages 6-11! You know what this means? It's means that Spongebob's reign of stupidity has finally come crashing down! The yellow sponge has been wrung out by the two stepbrothers who inspire kids of all ages to make summer vacation last! Even though for most of us, summer vacation is long over, the boys are still having fun with their summer and they encourage us to do the same! Spongebob and his Nickelodeon companions are getting the sting from jellyfish as the Danville crew and Disney rise to the top and take home the long-deserved crown!

Congratulations, Phineas and Ferb! And congratulations to Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh! Their efforts of getting the show on the air after sixteen years of attempts has more than paid off!

You Don't Meet a Girl Like That Every Dynasty

Phineas and Ferb Wiki stooges have done it again, with another episode claim, this time trying to use an international Disney XD channel as a cover-up. Here's the deal. The episode is entitled "Doof Dynasty" and it has been reported as mentioned on the German schedule for Disney XD beginning today. Don't these schnitzels have anything better to do with their lives besides fill the Phineas and Ferb Wiki up with this insensible nonsense? I mean... who cares if it's actually correct? Even if this episode actually exists, and I'm not falling for this trick so easily, the plot is preposterous and breaks the TV show standards. Leave the princess rescuing from evil forces to video game heroes such as Mario! Now there's a plumber with plenty of princess-rescuing experience for you! "Doof Dynasty"... Princess Isabella... Well, really! This is obviously a setup to get Phineas and Isabella shippers to build up false hope and be severely crushed in disappointment once again! Didn't the movie teach those shippers anything? Can't go falling for this stuff again, folks... At least, I won't. And not till there's undeniable proof that this is real, which I seriously doubt it is.

Interaction With Prerecorded Messages... Now There's Technology For You!

Thought I might as well have some fun with one of my favorite video game comedy bits from Dorkly. It's funny, but it's interesting to note that this scene is located in the level where the Maverick robot Chill Penguin resides, the area that is recommended to visit first because the player, X, obtains the Dash Boots at that location. Not to mention, the player has to interact with the prerecorded message from Dr. Light in this level, but it's worth getting the Dash Boots because they are extremely vital to the rest of the game, Mega Man X. Of course, this comedy bit pokes fun at this point in the game. I give props for good use of sprite animation.

Heh... why doesn't X just blast Chill Penguin while he's distracted with laughter?

Mega-Sick Jokes

Evidently, sad to say, there exist some young people who believe the tragedy of 9/11 was nothing more than a sick joke and in their warped and twisted minds, they have done terrible things to "celebrate" the occasion. I remember at my high school, sick twisted teenagers decided to poke fun at 9/11 by sounding off bomb scares left and right, costing us precious school days and education, several days after 9/11 first happened 10 years ago. And now today, there still exist some people who poke fun at 9/11, even 10 years later, and in eyes, they "celebrate" the occasion when our nation was under attack by terrorists. What's wrong with these people? Did they truly laugh as the twin towers came crumbling down that day? Did they feel no pity? Were they secretly juvenile? I don't know about you, but having these people around in the same districts where I've been at the time... it's pretty scary knowing that some bastard could one day think violence such as this terrible deed 10 years ago is cool and actually grow up to be a terrorist. Apparently, all these insolent kids want is just endless violence, and not just in the games that are created. Why don't they just frigging grow up already?

It's Been Ten Years Since...

Ten years ago today, our nation faced one of the worst terrorist attacks in history. The whole world changed that fateful day. And although personally, I felt neutral due to how fast it seemingly happened, I wish to pay my respects today as an American. This entry is my acknowledgement of the terrible events that transpired ten years ago. Still, it's hard to believe how these years pass so quickly, because I'm sure some of these events feel like only yesterday to some people.

Vandals Just Won't Leave Well Enough Alone

The Phineas and Ferb Wiki continues to be plagued by vandals creating scandals and false beliefs, hoping that there are stupid minds who will believe their sick jokes. Now they're trying to get smarter with screenshots, but still the good and smart admins are too clever for the twisted games. And yet, these criminals just never learn. Perhaps to them, it's not whether anyone believes them, but rather to make admins work extra hard and make fools out of them. Oh, the sick, twisted idiots! Sick, sick, sick! Pity that the infamous Fake Swampy Crisis was ultimately conspired by one of their own. After that, I wouldn't be surprised if users just couldn't be trusted. Vandals just never learn and they look for ways to make us believe garbage. Get a life, you twats!

The Importance of Voice Acting

Good day, folks. I wanna talk to y'all about voice acting, you know that acting when you're wearing headsets and unleash holy free speech into the microphone. Well, I wanna discuss something of vital importance, and that's matching the voice with the character, like a proper age for instance. Let's take Sakura from Cardcaptor Sakura for example. Her character starts out as a young 10-year-old girl and her Japanese voice actress nails the age perfectly. However, in the English dub, Sakura's English voice makes her sound like she's 14 instead of 10. Unless any dub information has stated otherwise, it's kind of flat-out wrong. And look, 4kids wasn't even responsible for that! Not when Nelvana was hired to do the dubbing voices. But the thing is, who cares if anime is toned down for kid audiences? We're talking realistic here! Well, in a certain sense, that is, but you get what I'm saying, right? You can make characters older in an English dub, but at least make the voices sound age appropriate, people. Can we do that? Good, good. At least the English dub of the second movie had it a little better. Sakura sounded more like a ten-year-old and her dub voice here is provided by Kari Wahlgren from Studiopolis, who voices Suzy from Phineas and Ferb.

Over and out.

Rumors and Consequences

The Phineas and Ferb Wiki has again revealed an episode title known as "Perry the Actorpus". And the current plot is that Phineas and Ferb's beloved pet platypus somehow wins a "spokesanimal" contest for Totally Tools, which would once again risk Perry's secret agent identity. Major Monogram responds by once again assigning Agent S, now known as Sergei the Snail, to be Dr. Doofenshmirtz's new nemesis, hopefully until the mess blows over. But this time, it is said that the good doctor will seriously underestimate his new opponent and after seeing him getting thwarted by a potted plant and a local zoo platypus, that would be no surprise. Unfortunately, the wiki doesn't seem to have any real solid proof so some mischief maker for all we know could once again be playing coy with us Phineas and Ferb fans, despite this one sounding like a reasonable episode within standards. But until there's evidence, there's no believing this, not just yet anyways.

So, it exists after all. Well, that's... good. Now, we wait for it to air.

Lady Luck

Titles that are like parodies, they always find a way to spoof on the originals. Take for example, this upcoming Phineas and Ferb episode "My Fair Goalie". Obviously, it's a play on the famous Broadway musical My Fair Lady and in a similar sense, Candace seems to be learning lessons on how to be a proper lady, much like how Eliza Doolittle from the musical had to learn pretty much the same thing albeit grammatically.

Interestingly enough, this girl who's teaching Candace, one of Ferb's cousins from England, is said to be named Eliza as well. Although, personally, I'm more interested in her striking resemblance to Frankie Foster from Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. What's that? Oh, the "goalie" part of the episode title? Oh, well that's because Ferb's cousins have come all the way from England to play soccer with Phineas and Ferb and their friends.

Good Movie, Bad Ending

And now the highly-anticipated movie, Phineas and Ferb: Across the Second Dimension, has now hit stores on DVD. Appropriately, iTunes chose the same time to release the movie, which should have been expected. Despite the negative last-minute ending, the movie did reel in millions of viewers and it is expected that the DVD is still gonna get tons of positive reviews, which will easily overcome the bad ending, which made it seem like the events never existed, I might add. So it's nothing more than a non-canon event in the life of Phineas and Ferb. Kinda barbaric that the O.W.C.A. has ruined everything. First they ruined things regarding Perry, so what's one more thing more or less? Pfft. Ridiculous. Curse you, O.W.C.A.! Curse you for burning everything to the ground! I swear, they're taking orders from a corrupt government based on a real life corrupt government. This is not what we need, folks! Yeah, I'm complaining, so what are you gonna do about it?

Ah, I'm just kidding. Who am I kidding?

A Sneak Preview of 8 Deleted Scenes

Disney was courteous to give viewers a sneak preview from two of the eight deleted scenes from the movie, Phineas and Ferb: Across the Second Dimension, including "Mysterious Force" and "Vanessa at Doof's". Other deleted scenes includes an extended scene of "Robot Riot", presumably the whole song, and oddly, "Memory Wipe". Despite what fans think, I seriously believe the latter deleted scene is gonna be nothing more than illogical. Why? Because I strongly believe it's exactly the same as in the movie. No alternate ending, no additional footage, no nothin'. Just an unnecessary deleted scene as hinted from an interview with Dan Povenmire that one of the deleted scenes actually made the final cut. And "Memory Wipe" was it. Boo.

So the ending did suck after all. Candace, sing your blues.

Miss Piggy

Two great franchises have now officially collided, as Muppet sensation Miss Piggy has appeared in the latest episode of the spin-off talk show, Take Two with Phineas and Ferb. You'd better believe it! Miss Piggy demonstrates her karate skills (not on Kermit this time!) on a block of ice, creating a sculpture of herself and shows her singing talent by performing "Spa Day", rapping the lyrics of the song herself. With this crossover, it'll be amazing to see how far the two stepbrothers will carry on in their world of fame. It's been four years since their debut and their show is stronger than ever, maybe even more than what could be hoped for.

The End?

No, it's not the end! Not on your life! Phineas and Ferb is still going strong, including two more episodes this month, "Tour de Ferb" and "Skiddley Whiffers". You can bet that this show will continue to popular and gain even more attention for a long time to come, especially after the results of the movie ratings. And here's undeniable proof!

May Phineas and Ferb live on forever!

I Can See Clearly Now

WARNING! SPOILERS! This post contains spoilers regarding the Disney Channel Original Movie, Phineas and Ferb: Across the Second Dimension. View at your own risk, or try not to look for that matter, if you want to see the movie and find out for yourself what happens.

Isabella, you dirty sneak! You snuck that one up on him! On the other hand, there is a bit of logic to this whole matter, so if you get it straight, P.I. strikes again! That's right, P.I. means private investigator, or investigation, whichever works, but that's what I've been doing.

Anyways, onto the scoop. After the events of the movie, when the evil version of Dr. Doofenshmirtz renounces his evil ways and is arrested for his crimes against humanity, Major Monogram and Carl take the main cast of characters to their secret headquarters and prepare for a final memory wipe. Perry is only allowed to stay with his family if no one remembers that he was ever a secret agent. Although Candace saw Perry as a secret agent three times, but all in unrealistic sightings. But just moments beforehand, Isabella sneakily kisses Phineas on the lips in front of everyone, including Candace, Jeremy, Buford, and Dr. Doofenshmirtz, and then tells Carl to fire up Doofenshmirtz's Amnesia-inator, despite Phineas' protests. Now, to think like a scientist. If Phineas did not want to forget Isabella's kiss, and even though no one remembers, that can mean only one thing. This is what Isabella had to do all along to get Phineas' attention. As nasty as this is, what are the chances this will happen again? There is said to be an upcoming episode in which Isabella asks Candace for some romantic advice, but I doubt Candace is gonna be any more helpful besides telling her to impress Phineas.

Ah, well. C'est la vie! Farewell, best day ever! But one thing is for certain. Many more are coming.

Oh, and to answer the questions I laid out in the previous post...

Will the evil version of Dr. Doofenshmirtz succeed in dual world domination?
- No. He repented.

Will Candace finally bust her brothers?
- Not this time. Though for some strange reason she thinks she can contend with a mysterious force and thinks that busting her brothers this time cleared the air.

Will our heroes be forced to bid a final farewell to their favorite platypus, Perry?
- And no.

Huh... Tough break, I guess.

Third Special's the Charm

...Or is it? Things might not be as they seem. Anyways, fans who have access to Disney Channel have the pleasure of seeing the first Phineas and Ferb movie in action tonight. Let's hope it isn't long before it arrives on iTunes. It's the first movie and third special of the renowned television series and for being special number three, we are ultimately presented with three top priority questions that must be answered. Will the evil version of Dr. Doofenshmirtz succeed in dual world domination? Will Candace finally bust her brothers? Will our heroes be forced to bid a final farewell to their favorite platypus, Perry? Tonight, all will be revealed...

...And I won't be able to find out jack...

Six Dimensions, One Adventure

As a bonus, those who pick up the Phineas and Ferb movie soundtrack at Wal-Mart stores get an exclusive bonus - the same CD, but with ten additional songs, all from the series. I have this edition of the soundtrack and since the extra songs can't seem to be found and downloaded from iTunes, this is the only way to get them. So remember, buy at Wal-Mart if you want the additional stuff.

Dimensions Two Through Six

Phineas and Ferb fans, get cracking and check iTunes! The soundtrack of the movie is up for grabs and so is the 'Kick It Up a Notch' music video! Personally, I'm going to try to purchase the CD from a store rather than download it to prove I am a fan myself. And whaddya know... it was merely an exaggeration when it was believed the album length of the song 'Kick It Up a Notch' would be six minutes and thirty-six seconds. I mean, get real. What more do they need to insert in that one? More lines from Doof? The song's good enough already. So what are you waiting for? Buy or download! I don't care which! A golden opportunity is knocking at the door, and I suggest you answer it!

Oh, and the video game should be out, too.

This Is It...

This is it, the month Phineas and Ferb fans have been waiting for. The movie, the video game based on the movie, the soundtrack of the movie, the DVD...

The ending's gonna suck, isn't it?

Ah, poop.

I already know the ending
It's the part that makes your face implode
I don't what makes your face implode
But that's the way the movie ends

The End of a Legacy

As many of you know by now, July 15th 2011 marked the end of a British legend, the Harry Potter legacy. With seven books and eight movies, this month officially closes the book on the most magical journey in history. For ten years, the books grabbed our attention, and for ten years, the movies captivated audiences worldwide. And now, alas, as the promotional tagline for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2 says... "It All Ends".

Farewell, Harry Potter. We hardly knew ye... Ah, who am I kidding? Fans knew him very well, right from when he was first seen sleeping under that cupboard to when he was portrayed as a 36-year-old man of legend, married with three children. The boy who lived is now the man who defeated Lord Voldemort!

Thank you, J.K. Rowling, for creating and putting together this British masterpiece!

Keeping It Simple, Silly

"Oh my gosh, Isabella! Is this for real?"

"I...don't know."

Recently, according to a Facebook entry on Phineas and Ferb, it has been claimed that a response to a fan question "Will Phineas and Isabella ever get together?" was answered at the Comic-Con 2011 panel as "There will be a Phineas and Isabella kiss in something coming up real soon!" While this may be something that Phineas and Isabella fans have been dying to see right from the start, there are still a number of things that can make this whole thing nothing but hogwash. Firstly, can someone clarify for me that a Facebook entry on the show has actually been in existence? And if it always has, was the staff always in charge? Personally, I'm convinced that some user is having a little fun trying to trick us into believing the pairing of Phineas and Isabella is actually possible at this point. Secondly, many fans were originally pumped for this sort of thing, but it appears that some users are now against the pairing with bogus talk of something so little possibly potentially ruining the show. What happened to the tons of support out there? What made them change their minds? Did they not count on this gag possibly becoming a reality? And thirdly, would a question like this that has possibly been presented numerous times suddenly be answered just like that? Something that could just give away an ending to a long-awaited fairy tale? Not even Dan and Swampy would give away any kind of thing that could be seen as a spoiler, despite rumors of Dan practically giving away the ending to the movie by answering fan questions elsewhere on the Internet. Is this whole turnaround just plainly and simply too good to be true? I'll bet it is. Good day.

Music to Protect the World From Evil

This music video is said to air on Disney Channel tonight as another promo to watch the upcoming movie. However their YouTube page was courteous enough to upload it a little early.

Dream World

The world of Kingdom Hearts continues to expand again. Recently, it has been stated that the Nintendo 3DS title, Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, is almost half completed with voice recording to begin soon. Also, it is said that a playable demo will soon show itself at the 2011 Tokyo Game Show later in the year, which will feature two new mysterious characters and a new type of enemy. Heartless, Nobodies, Unversed, and now... something new? Kingdom Hearts fans will be looking forward to the results, I'm sure.

Kick It Up A Little Longer

The single "Kick It Up a Notch" from Phineas and Ferb: Across the Second Dimension is now released, and its availability includes iTunes. Of course, now it's being claimed that there's an even longer version of this song on the actual soundtrack of the Phineas and Ferb movie. Personally, I thought this one was pretty good, so why would there be an even lengthier one? Well, the music video ought to be interesting when it comes...

Kick It Up A Notch

If any of you recall, according to Laura Dickinson, the soundtrack to the TV movie Phineas and Ferb: Across the Second Dimension is said to including a song featuring Slash, a former lead guitarist from the American hard rock band Guns N' Roses. Well, this is it, the song known as "Kick It Up A Notch". Evidently, it is currently stated that Phineas himself is participating in singing lyrics as well and also a single is being released on July 19th. Perhaps then, we'll find out more about this song, regarding who sings what and all that. I look forward to the results.

Mom! Phineas and Ferb are on the New York Times!

"Oh, Candace, for crying out loud! What's wrong with that?" My thoughts exactly! But then again, for all we know, Candace could just once again be jealous of her brothers. And in this case, they made it to the New York Times, becoming celebrities before her! ...Well, the cast and the show, in any case. Or she's jealous because Ashley Tisdale was not among the cast. But seriously, today a video has been uploaded showing the wonders of the hit television show, Phineas and Ferb, including the official movie trailer and interviews with six of the cast members, including Dan and Swampy themselves, obviously, and even more obviously, them demonstrating the voices of the characters they portray. The cast also included Vincent Martella (Phineas), Maulik Pancholy (Baljeet), Alyson Stoner (Isabella), and Dee Bradley Baker (Perry the Platypus/Agent P). Yet another historical moment for the show, one that not even Spongebob is capable of. This goes to show that not only does Phineas and Ferb continue to hold bragging rights over the potential of surpassing the idiotic yellow sponge, but Dan and Swampy's persistence to get the show accepted and on the air paid off. It did take them at least a decade and a half, but we can imagine it was well worth the wait for all of this. 2011 is definitely gonna be a historical and memorable year for the show. All this and the movie still hasn't aired yet!

It's Not Wise to Counter Meklords With Synchros

The Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game has recently made Meklord Emperor Wisel an English card, meaning that the Meklord archetype is now completed in the TCG. Meklord Emperor Wisel, Meklord Emperor Granel, and Meklord Astro Mekanikle have been available as promotional cards from purchasing specific issues of the Shonen Jump magazine while Meklord Emperor Skiel and Meklord Astro Dragon Asterisk are currently available as hard-to-find cards in the booster pack Extreme Victory. Apparently, Meklord Emperor Wisel was the last of the Meklord cards to be released in English and yet the first to make its debut in the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's anime series.

The Fifth Finale

WARNING! SPOILERS! This post contains spoilers regarding the Japanese Super Mario World hack, Super Mario World: VIP & Wall Mix 5, the fifth in the VIP series. View at your own risk if you wish to find out for yourself.

If you have played this series of Japanese hacks, you may remember that each final boss is an original boss, meaning they are exclusive VIP bosses. The final boss of Super Mario World: VIP & Wall Mix 4 is considered an original boss, but it is loosely based on the final form of the Seven Heroes, the final boss from Romancing SaGa 2. However, on an interesting note, the final boss of the latest VIP hack is nothing original at all, but rather it is none other than Julius Vandole, the main antagonist of Final Fantasy Adventure. Not to mention, he is located in the game's final stage, Bowser's Castle and completely replaces Bowser as the final boss. Also, the boss's ASM file has been slightly modified from the one in the demo versions. With more arsenal added to two of his attacks and an extra phase, Julius is much tougher to defeat. Good luck!

Let's Kick Some Bot!

It should be noted that Phineas and Ferb: Across the Second Dimension: The Junior Novel was released in stores two days ago, thus paving the way for possible and potential spoilers. But the real spoilers seem to come on a forum where Dan Povenmire himself answers a few questions for fans. So, who else is willing to wait another month before seeing the movie on television and get the real story? Although, based on answers given out by Dan, there's a chance the ending may not be so promising...

Throwing in the Sponge

It appears that according to basic cable ratings at the end of the week of June 26, 2011 that not only did the show Phineas and Ferb make it into the Top 25 at number 11, but they finally beat out Spongebob Squarepants, positioned in numbers 18-20! That ought to be a milestone for Phineas and Ferb fans and it ought to say something straight to the doofus yellow sponge. There's no doubt 2011 marks a historical year for the two stepbrothers what with Season 3's debut and the movie with promising expectations. Take that, stupid yellow sponge! ...Well, he is stupid. Sponges don't have brains after all.

VIP the Fifth

For those who hold interests in hacks of the Super Nintendo video game Super Mario World, there exists a series of VIP and Wall Mix Japanese hacks and the long-awaited fifth hack in the series has been finished and released for quite some time now. Like all the others, it is said that things don't get too interesting until towards the end of the game where the ASM showcase kicks in with out-of-this-world big bosses. In the case of VIP 5, the two major bosses are Julius from Final Fantasy Adventure and Tanasinn. Also, like most Japanese hacks, this new hack contains some brain-racking puzzles as well.

Much Ado About Speculation

For a few days, a load of rubbish was being speculated about the latest Phineas and Ferb episodes, particularly this one scene in "Candace Disconnected", when Phineas tests out a new kind of cellphone he made for Candace and teleports directly in front of his friend Isabella, resulted in them bumping their noses against each other. The speculation that followed was uncouth, unnecessary, unworthy, and outrageously worth scoffing at. And many users just wouldn't shut up about it. They insisted on building up hope for an improvement in their relationship, which I prefer not to happen because of a possible crushing disappointment once the upcoming movie comes and goes. I wonder why fans insist anyway. This little scene is nothing special... is it? Pfft.

Actually, Isabella did say "Dang" when Phineas teleported back to the garage. First "dang" in the series?

The Saga Is Back!

It appears as though a new series of Code Lyoko, known as Code Lyoko Evolution, is coming with 26 episodes in 2012. Not many other details have been released yet, but all that is known is the promise of the original cast like they've never been seen before. Some fans may call this Season 5, but for all we know, it could be something entirely new.

Who Says a Platypus Doesn't Do Much?

Maybe a platypus doesn't do much, but a Platy-bus does. Read all about it here.

Well, as everyone knows by now, Perry the Platypus is not your average platypus who doesn't do much, and some of you probably know that his species is not the only mammal species that lay eggs. The echidna is another, and I can't understand why it's still not a correctly spelled word. But anyways, read the article and get all the hips and happenings on the number one show for tweens and keep telling yourself "Why oh why has this show still not surpassed Spongebob?" I mean, that yellow scatterbrained swab hasn't been seen going around and gaining all this fame the way Phineas and Ferb have. I'll bet if the stepbrothers ever appear in Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade or at least have one more special occasion, Spongebob should start crying in his pineapple under the sea...that is, if he can even grasp half the things that are going on.
