Damn These Bronies to Hell Already!

So this "Equestria Girls" thing that's been floating around for a while is actually coming to pass and is getting a theatrical release on June 16th, 2013.  Hm, okay...  This is something new indeed.  But the reason I'm here and making this post is because...  Guess what?  Once more, the brony fandom is exploding in anger and cursing Hasbro for doing this side story.

The thing is, the brony community has without a doubt revealed its true colors by now.  While they pretended to love the show and band together over the first couple of episodes, once things changed, they went off in an angry rant and decided that they should secretly usurp Hasbro to take control of the whole My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic franchise for themselves and create the series the way they want it.  What the hell?

So while the term 'brony' may seem to be fitting for a male young adult fan of the series, in actuality, it is like the Moopets to the Muppets.  In other words, bad.  Clearly, when one thing doesn't go their way in the series, they erupt.  So it's obvious these bronies are not fans at all, but rather warmongers hell-bent on repossessing the entire series if not the franchise.  When Lauren Faust left the show, they complained.  When Derpy was 'censored', they shouted.  When Twilight became an alicorn princess, they ranted, raved, and bellowed.  And now, with the coming of "Equestria Girls", they are exploding with fury.  Will someone just tell these bronies to head for the hills and leave the goddamn fandom already?!

It's also clear that the bronies have lost sight of the whole gist.  I can't stress this enough, but the series is considered a children's series!  It was made with an original demographic for young girls!  How much clearer can that be to these evil bronies?!  Hasbro didn't draw in these bronies to the fandom.  The bronies did that themselves and formed their own community.  And once again, they're tearing each other apart limb from limb and after all this time, they still haven't disbanded?  Ugh...

From now on, I say to be a brony is to be a bad person, because it means being a part of that particular fandom means being part of a group that wants to take over Hasbro and run the show the way bronies want.  If that were to happen, can you imagine all the Rule 34 stuff that would show up as a start?

If you bronies don't like the series anymore, and you don't like what Hasbro is doing, just leave the frigging fandom.  Because now, the bronies have notoriously hurt the feelings of a few animators from DHX and that is not a good thing.  It's official.  These bronies... are monsters.

  1. I'm really not too fond of the character designs and "Spike The Dog", but I really don't think this movie will be that bad. And that's just it... it's a movie that will be the equivalent of about three episodes, not a full-length series.

And for those who don't like it: Going by Twitter comments and the like, this is going to be *canon* with FiM, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's also the "Part II and III" after Magical Mystery Cure.

I have a feeling that this scene is from Equestria Girls and not the beginning of S4 like everyone thinks: http://derpibooru.org/296284

Twilight's literally going through growing pains, it seems, because her wings look much bigger. I think in time she's going to end up looking more like Luna and Cadance. The fact she's having problems trying to fly suggests that it's relatively soon after MMC.

Oh, and the season two DVD set has the edited version of The Last Roundup. Cue WILL NOT BUY whining from the usual suspects (some EqD commenters).

Not all the feedback has been negative though. Some of the stuff made with "Brad" has been really funny: http://derpibooru.org/325523

Though there have also been those pissed off about the possibility of Twilight "having a boyfriend". Brony-creepiness aside, I don't think that'll be an issue at all but I think Twilight will meet the Equestrian-version of "Brad" at the very end or something. And Celestia did say that Twilight has grown up, so why would that be a bad thing?

For some though, it would be *very* bad. Shipping is often what destroys and divides fandoms like none other. It's too early to tell what's going to happen in EG at this point, though.

    1. Good to hear from you again.

That clip was probably just made for Twilight's hot minute, but I wouldn't be surprised if it resurfaced in an episode again.

Shipping is not a bad thing and I actually love romance, so I can't imagine how it tears up the fandom, which is ironic because fan fiction makes shit happen all the time. Wouldn't that mean that the fandom is full of hypocrisy in that case?

I've stated this many times, but I think the series should have been downhill since the Season 2 finale and couldn't possibly be ruined any more than that, in my personal opinion. And of course, I don't care what happens to the fandom. If the bronies finally disband... good riddance. They're just eating away at themselves anyway.

  2. This isn't exactly the right place to put this, but whatever.

Season Two of FiM has been removed from Amazon.com, and it's not stated why but it's very likely it's due to Derpy whiners (because the set has the edited version of The Last Roundup). So if you really wanted to get it, you only had about two weeks or so at most... it's gone.

I thought the anger over Derpygate, Twilicorn and Equestria Girls was bad enough but, to me, this is much worse and screams how entitled and babyish some of the fandom really is. I'm ashamed.

Way to keep ruining the fandom you idiotic "bronies". And don't start complaining when there's no Season Three DVD set because of poor sales, because you've brought it upon yourselves.

    1. I never wanted Season Two to begin with. God, that finale was awful.

So, now bronies are ruining sales, are they? This is unforgivable. Their true colors have surfaced, though they pretty much have been visible for a long time now and the signs began when Lauren Faust left the show.

My "colleague", Black Kyurem, has plans to write a FIMFiction.net story in which the term 'bronies' will be used for ponies serving under a ruthless war general hell-bent on conquering Equestria in order to run things his way under an iron fist. The crux of the story will be to represent how bronies continue to behave, given how they've reacted lately to the old phrase "Shit happens".
