Happy Green Day!

Well, it's St. Patrick's Day again, and I thought I'd bring up something green.  No, it's not the Green Day band.

It's been 30 years since the release of the original Franklin the Turtle children's books, which told slice-of-life stories through amazing illustrations and drawings and characters that children and adults could relate to.  In 1997, it got a cartoon adaptation.  And in 2006, Nelvana released the DVD Franklin and the Turtle Lake Treasure, a Canadian animated movie that actually put a slightly different spin on the series, blending adventure with the slice-of-life genre.  I intend to review this movie in time, but for now, here's a music video I made in one day featuring the characters Franklin and Samantha.

Fun fact:  Samantha was actually voiced by Tajja Isen, who performs in the song I picked out.

A Bobby's World Music Video - "Forever" by Puffy AmiYumi

Does anyone growing up in the 90's remember the cartoon Bobby's World put together by Canadian actor and comedian Howie Mandel?  I only remember watching it, so here's a music video that I made in just one day centering around a running gag that I don't remember at all.

YouTube and Facebook won't let me post it, so I have to showcase it here on my blog.  This is The Thunder saying, "Where's the fair use?"  #WTFU
