Always A First

With the newest Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game booster pack, Order of Chaos, now released, it was been revealed that the monster once called "Kuribolt" in Japanese has received an English name known as "Kurivolt". So this the first Kuriboh equivalent to not use all the letters of "Kurib", like previous Kuriboh cards before, such as Kuribon. And this little guy also has nothing to do with negating damage at all. Instead, it is a support card for Xyz Monster summoning. When a player controls one, by sacrificing its Xyz Materials, Kurivolt comes out instantly, adding a number of Level 1 monsters to the field in a jiffy. This is more supportive towards summoning Rank 1 Xyz Monsters, as for the record, all of those ones require 3 Level 1 monsters to be stacked. So it seems with each new Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series, there is a Kuriboh equivalent for each one. And in Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL, said equivalent is back in the hands of the main protagonist! Happy dueling, little guy!

It's All Ancient History Now

For almost four years, a well-known and long-running children's franchise known as The Land Before Time has been over ever since the television series aired its last episode. With thirteen movies and 26 episodes, all beginning with the phenomenal release of the first film in theaters in 1988, The Land Before Time spanned for 20 consecutive years before finally closing the book on the Prehistoric Pals and their many adventures. Why, you ask? Well, as a start, there doesn't seem to be any signs whatsoever of a fourteenth film or any more episodes. So it seems that the Oviraptor character Ruby from the television series may never get a film debut. Such a pity. The series included mainly emphasis on lessons learned about life and friendship, but there's still that big question that likely remains. Should The Land Before Time have stopped with just the one Don Bluth film? Or was it worth twelve sequels and a television series for the introductions and debuts of lovable characters such as Chomper and Ruby? I don't think we're ever gonna get a definite answer on that. But I definitely do not think all these sequels were made to deliberately insult the original Don Bluth film. Somewhere in this country, popularity hath risen. So, I guess the whole series is just in the ancient past now and today, it has only paved the way for fans to take over. Dinosaurs and their relatives became extinct 65 million years ago... now it seems that it won't be long before this long-running series shares the same fate.

Man of Darkness

How many of you Kingdom Hearts fans remember this guy? You know, the insane-to-beat boss from Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep... that guy. Apparently, in the upcoming Japanese game, Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, his role is gonna be slightly bigger. It has been stated in an interview with Tetsuya Nomura himself that this mysterious figure is a time manipulator and that people of darkness emerge wherever he goes. So in that eight-minute trailer, it can definitely be assumed he is the reason the young Master Xehanort and Vanitas appeared to Sora to tell him there is another heart inside him. It is not known if this mysterious figure will have to be fought either by Sora or Riku yet, but it will likely be a nightmare for players if that happens... unless there's another reason for all this...

Talk Like a Caveman Day with Phineas and Ferb

More like Phinebunk and Gerb, but seriously? Don't know how a caveman talks? Watch the Phineas and Ferb episode Tri-Stone Area and you'll find out the cave talk that the ever-imaginative Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh came up with.

"How 'bout Talk Like a Caveman Day? I don't even know how cavemen talk because I've never met one." - An impression of Captain Jack Sparrow

SOPA, PIPA, What is This?

Yeah, I heard the news and everything. This so-called bill is said to incriminate the first amendment and in a nut shell, put the Internet out of a job. I have to wonder who in the blazes would come up with such a corrupt idea. I'll bet it's those rotten Republicans, always out to conquer the world with their own little schemes to put a whole planet down. The filth. Don't you people get it by now? Republicans are evil. And if something isn't done, an empire of bigotry and dominance will be forged and prejudice will reign supreme! Apparently, either no one remembers what it was like when the evil George W. Bush was president or people do remember and they love treating poor people like they don't deserve to exist. It seems that everyone who doesn't get it is ignorant, which is why I continue to lose faith in humanity... cause it's disgusting each and every passing day, the way no one thinks smartly. Do me a favor and get your heads straightened on!

Now the Seven Entities

In brightest day, in blackest night,
The cards bestow the power to fight,
For those who turn to evil's might,
Beware the power, the power of light

Pirated

Check it! The Pirates of the Caribbean film series is still planning to go headstrong, and as for me personally, I hope all the loose ends can be tied up. Will Angelica exact her revenge on Jack with all the years of her life to do it? Will Barbossa conquer the seven seas with the help of Blackbeard's sword? Will Captain Jack Sparrow ever set sail with his beloved Black Pearl again? Questions still have yet to hit the high seas, so be prepared to pillage!

Incoming Power!

Hey, Yu-Gi-Oh! fans and players! Remember good ol' Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon? It's getting an upgraded form! And as expected, it's an Xyz Monster! Currently named in Japanese, Neo Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon, this creature requires a total of three Level 8 monsters on the field for the Xyz Summon, but it's well worth it, especially if the original Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon is one of the Xyz Materials. Not only does it boast 4500 attack points, but it is capable of wiping out all your opponent's Xyz Materials and gaining even more power and a successive round of attacks for each one! It's a good thing that when Kaito will bring out this beast that he'll be dueling on Yuma's side in their first tag duel! So like this card's original counterpart, it is stronger against its fellow Xyz Monsters.

Platypus Minus P

As many of you Phineas and Ferb fans are aware of, Season 3 is ending with the cliffhanger episode "World Without a Platypus", divided into two separate episodes going right into Season 4. Now, according to an 8x8 book to be released June 19, 2012, the plot for the episode has been revealed, which is fitting for the title. What happens is that one of Agent P's spy missions goes deadly wrong and he disappears. Things were bad enough when the O.W.C.A. branded the consequences should his secret ever get discovered, as exemplified in the first movie. So once again, Phineas and Ferb face the dilemma of the worst-case scenario of not being able to see Perry again. So what happens when you subtract Agent P out of existence from "platypus"? It's a horrendous equation, isn't it? Could this be the end of our beloved platypus? Stay tuned to the action-inator conclusion of "World Without a Playtpus"... Part 2! I wonder just how long Disney intends to leave audiences hanging in the air next summer...

Blue Blur Gone Five-Alarm?

With Sonic Generations and Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games having pretty much come and gone, fans probably speculated another game would soon be in the works. And now there are rumors flowing around that a game tentatively known as Sonic Dimensions is said to come as sort of a sequel to Sonic Generations and Sonic Colors. The current concept is that Dr. Eggman messes around with the time-space continuum and not only does it affect Sonic's home world, but also Sonic the Hedgehog himself, causing him to split into five different hedgehogs with a different color to represent a facet of each of his personalities. Each one would have a different power and ability. While it does sound intriguing and liable to be considered an ideal Sonic game, it is still merely a rumor, so we might have to wait a little longer before we learn if any new real Sonic games are on the horizon anytime soon.

Thought I'd Drop In

As many of you Kingdom Hearts fans probably know by now, the latest game in the series, Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance is slated for release in Japan sometime this spring, currently shooting for March. And a release for the U.S. is also being planned by Square Enix, but they haven't given us an exact date yet, which is no surprise actually, considering an exact date for the Japanese release hasn't been revealed yet either. Just thought I'd distribute what I came across recently, nothing special.

Double Time

Phineas and Ferb are going back in time again... without time traveling! The next set of episodes set to air beginning January 13th are historic episodes, including the ages of caveman, ancient China, and the 20th century during the legacy of Indiana Jones. According to Disney Channel, this moment of making history is known as Time Shift and each episode is like no other. That is to say, none of them have got the setting you remember. Danville and the Tri-State Area are right out. I sure hope Dan and Swampy aren't running out of ideas! After all, there's still a fourth season in the works!

Oh, and this is apparently my 200th blog entry, so... yeah.
